DRTV Agency Kre8 Media adds five people to its staff in response to account wins, organic growth.

WINTER PARK, FL, May 19, 2010—Kre8 Media Inc., the fast-growing direct-response and brand advertising agency has added five people to its staff as the result of recent account wins and billings growth.

The new hires are Christin Higgins, Monica Lovett, Helena Salles, Lauren Eubanks and Liliana Gomez. In addition, Kre8 Media has promoted Marcy Petricig Braasch and Sam Rodriguez to the position of Vice President.

“We’re fortunate to be adding to our team as the result of both organic growth from existing clients and new business wins like Premier Care in Bathing,” said T. Lee Cutler, President of Kre8 Media. “While general advertising has suffered from the effects of the recession, direct response is flourishing because savvy marketers understand it is more effective and accountable.”

Higgins joins Kre8 Media as Direct Response Media Supervisor. She most recently worked for Mercury Media in Boston, MA and has more than six years of traditional, direct response and hybrid media experience across spot TV, national cable and syndication and terrestrial, satellite and online radio. Accounts on which Higgins has worked include Vegas.com, Carvel Ice Cream and Hoveround.

Lovett, who joins Kre8 Media as Direct Response Media Manager, most recently worked for Zimmerman Advertising and Kent Creative Group in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Prior to her work in the Florida market, Monica worked for many years at Direct Response Media, Inc. in Philadelphia, where she handled several DRTV accounts. Her client experience includes Trust Life Insurance, Electric Mobility, BC/BS Michigan, BNY Reverse Mortgage, Hollywood Trainer, Consolidated Credit Counseling Services (CCCS), Lifestyle Lift, Guaranteed Trust Life Insurance and Sunsetter Retractable Awnings.

Salles joins Kre8 Media as Media Planner. Her background includes The Y Partnership in Orlando, FL and Zimmerman Advertising in Ft. Lauderdale. Helena has planned cross-platform media strategies based on her strong analytical and research skills, as well as expertise in digital planning. Her client experience includes AutoNation, Jackson-Hewitt, hhgregg, Hilton Caribbean, Grupo Posadas and Outrigger Enterprises Group.

Eubanks joins Kre8 Media as a Buyer, working primarily on the PokerStars.net account. She most recently was an Assistant Buyer at Horizon Media. Gomez comes to Kre8 Media as Traffic Manager. Her background is in station-side traffic, servicing the Hearst family of stations in the Orlando market.

Braasch has been promoted to VP, Direct Response Media, having joined Kre8 Media in July, 2009. She began her media career at Tower Media Advertising, Inc. in Chicago, helping to build and direct such short- and long-form DRTV accounts as Video Professor. Her client experience also includes Life Alert, Astrive, Petnovation, Feed the Children, AmMed, Premier Care in Bathing, Glamour Shots, Sinclair Intimacy Institute and Cash for Gold USA.

Having joined Kre8 Media in 2008 as Planning Director, Rodriguez becomes VP, Strategic Planning. Prior to Kre8, Sam was Regional Supervisor/Network Development Director for MediaCom Worldwide, where he headed planning/buying departments and developed and executed media strategies for all agency clients throughout the Americas. Those clients included Volkswagen, Procter & Gamble, British American Tobacco and GSK. He started his career at MediaEdge:CIA working on Colgate-Palmolive. His background also includes working on such accounts as BMW, Heineken, ExxonMobil, Alberto-Culver, Diageo, Texaco and MasterFoods.
