Kre8 Places PokerStars.net The Big Game on Fox Affiliates | 2010-03-31

PokerStars.net The Big Game Debuts this June on FOX Affiliates in the US and OMNI and RSN in Canada - the show will air nightly after mid night 5 days per week.

Kre8 Media Places The Big Game on FOX

As part of a new strategy to broaden the reach and acquire new customers for its client Pokerstars.net, Kre8 Media sought new integrated program placement opportunities in the US and Canada. In 2009, Kre8 Media placed PokerStars.net television programming on FOX, CBS, ESPN Classic, ESPN 2, and GSN in the U.S. and on Global, City TV, TSN, Sportsnet, OLN, OMNI, and The Score in Canada.

The PokerStars.net Big Game is a nightly high stakes cash game program geared towards poker enthusiasts.  Unlike its newbie-focused sibling program, The PokerStars.net Million Dollar Challenge, The Big Game will appeal to those who love to watch suspenseful high stakes poker action.  Not only will this program enhance the brand of PokerStars.net within the poker community, it will enable viewers to play for a chance to appear on the show!  All PokerStars players in the US and Canada can qualify for free as a Loose Cannon by playing in Free-to-enter Round 1 qualifier tournaments that run every day from March 26 - June 25.

Winners will be invited to send an audition video, convincing producers why they should be a Loose Cannon. Winners will be sent to Las Vegas to star on the show with a minimum buy-in of $100,000 (provided by PokerStars), alongside legends like Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu and other big names.

By design, Kre8 placed the show on FOX in the US, the strongest indexing network amongst Men, in order to dominate the late night poker scene.  In Canada, Kre8 placed the show on OMNI following David Letterman and on Sportsnet as the lead in program for the Poker block @ 3PM every day.  Poker Fans can catch the show every day starting in mid-June (check local listings).
